A new study has found that an over-the-counter supplement for erectile dysfunction could be the difference between a £100 Viagra pill and a £50 Viagra pill.
The research was published in the. The study involved 11,400 men with erectile dysfunction aged 18 to 64 who took a prescription-strength (60 mg sildenafil) to help them achieve and maintain an erection.
The study, published in the journal, found that the over-the-counter version of Viagra contained a drug that could help men who need it, but not men who have no treatment for erectile dysfunction.
It is hoped that the use of the new supplement could be a much more accessible and effective treatment for erectile dysfunction than the pill, which was originally intended for men.
Professor Mark McEvoy, the lead author of the research, said: “We’re pleased to find that Viagra has now become a safe and convenient treatment for men with erectile dysfunction. It’s certainly worth considering.”
He added that “the new supplement has already shown promise in clinical trials and has the potential to improve treatment adherence in some men with erectile dysfunction.”
Professor McEvoy added that “these new studies will help make the treatment more accessible to men seeking treatment for erectile dysfunction.”

The supplement is being manufactured by Pfizer, based in New York, and launched on the company’s website in July.

The new study, which was funded by a research grant from the National Institute for Health Research, was published in the journal The Lancet on Tuesday.
The researchers looked at the results of more than 11,000 men who took a placebo and had used Viagra as part of their treatment to achieve and maintain erections. The men also took a non-prescription supplement to help them last longer in bed.
The men in the study were asked to complete an orally-administered questionnaire about their erectile function.
Those who took Viagra were more likely to achieve and maintain an erection in the first four hours after taking the drug, compared with those who took the placebo group. The researchers also found that those who took the non-prescription supplement had higher blood pressure and cholesterol levels than those who took the placebo group.
